As a business owner, Facebook Business Manager is a space that you need to be comfortable with. Some days that feels overwhelming with all of the changes that have come through lately.

Business Manager is a Facebook tool that helps you organize and manage your business and there have been many iterations of it.

Before I get ahead of myself…

What does it mean to give a Partner access to assets in your Business Manager?

Whether you are working with an agency, freelancer or employee, you want to be able to give them access to your company’s business manager while maintaining control over what they have direct access to.

An example is that not every ‘Partner’ that you add needs to see your financials especially if they aren’t helping with your ad campaigns.

When you give a partner access to your assets in your business manager, you can grant access to different assets and assign specific permission levels. Partners can see assets you share with them in their own Business Managers.

Before you get started:

  • Only business admins can add a partner.
  • Your partner must have a Business Manager. If they don’t, ask them to create a Business Manager.
  • You need your partner’s business ID.

Your Business ID directly corresponds to your Meta Business Manager. You may need to use it for a Meta Pixel or monthly invoices.

Not sure where to find the Business ID?

  1. Go to Business Settings.
  2. Click Business Info.
  3. Below the Business Manager Info, you’ll see your ID number.
